Kraus Manning Sustainable Solutions implements energy management practices set forth by the Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency. KMSS begins by evaluating your organizations past and current energy performance. This information is continuously updated and reported back to our clients on a predetermined basis. We establish baselines for each facility to provide the starting point for setting goals and evaluating future efforts and overall performance. We benchmark each facility using national energy performance rating systems to allow for comparison against similar facilities, or compare to its past performance. KMSS provides its clients quantitative reviews of the analyzed data as well as reviewed operating procedures to determine their impact on energy use. We use this information to determine if a facility is a good candidate for a comprehensive Building Efficiency Assessment.

BUILDING EFFICIENCY ASSESSMENTS
A Comprehensive Building Efficiency Assessment, or energy audit, of your facility provides the vital information necessary to create a baseline performance and model energy consumption allowing us to identify efficient solutions that will enhance performance. Our team of registered engineers will perform a site visit and collect all vital information on your facility and its construction and devices that contribute to energy consumption.

ENERGY REDUCTION PLAN
We deliver a comprehensive Energy Reduction Plan, derived from DOE approved software, with: recommended energy efficient measures, optimized building performance, anticipated costs & schedule, identification of all available incentives and your Return on Investment.

IMPLEMENTATION
KMSS will create a design for retrofit based on your selected measures, prequalify contractors, provide construction management services, administer all incentives and perform measurement & verification as necessary.

REBATES AND INCENTIVES
Our team will utilize a comprehensive source for information including thorough research on state, local, utility, and federal incentives, rebates, credits, and grants that promote renewable energy and energy efficiency. We will assist in the application process for all incentives that are applicable to our recommendations.

BUDGET & SCHEDULE
Our Estimators and Schedulers will provide a detailed budget and schedule based on the recommendations provided using current market and regional values.
