Located at Wells Bay, on the Island of Tortola, BVI, two abandoned beach-side villas were renovated on the grounds of a boutique hotel during peak occupancy. Local materials were incorporated into the scheme to blend into the mountainous terrain that features large natural boulders on the site. KMI was given a very tight budget to work with and a program period of only 12 weeks. The work included all new finishes, cabinetry, the manufacture of new windows and doors with their installation, a complete rewiring of the villas and landscaping.
